This is such a great set for our 3 year old son. He absolutley loves it and hubby and I put it together in about 6 hours which we think is pretty good given neither of us are particularly handy!. The instructions were excellent but make sure you sort and layout everything first. It has transformed our backyard and we love the look of it and seeing our son out there for hours playing with his friends we know we have made a great investment. Great service and fast delivery!

Love this set. Takes about one hour to seperate the pieces. My husband put it together by himself, it took most of the weekend on and of and with 2 it would have been far quicker. Worth every penny and worth the time, my 7 year old loves it and has had a few lunch picnics inside her little house in the sky.

When going through manual don’t think it is incorrect, all of the boards were exactly the right length. However, there is a difference between nominal and actual size. There was a blurb in the manual that explained this. For example, a 2×4 isn’t actually 2 inches by 4 inches. It’s 1.5 inches by 3.5 inches. However, if you fail to properly square and level the assembly, they will appear to be of incorrect length. This is why you have to properly use a framing square and level when assembling the swingset. Additionally, it’s par for the course for the boards to not be labeled. This is my second cedar swingset. The other one was from a different manufacturer and the boards weren’t labeled on it either. However, the manual offers easy visual identification and measurements. Finally, the holes are drilled properly. It’s an issue of being able to visualize the proper perspective as drawn in the installation guide. I thought some of my boards had the holes wrong as well but after studying the manual, I realized the error was mine.

As for the swingset itself, it’s very well engineered and quite sturdy. There metal brackets for the monkey bars and roof rails were an excellent design and I like how they anticipated the swing beams checking and including bolts to prevent it. The overall feel of the finished product was one of strength and quality. I am very pleased.

The product was WAY easier to put together than my computer desk. took my husband and i about 14 hours between 2 days to put together with having to stop in the middle go take the kids to the circus and for lunch breaks. You do have to label all the wood parts before you start makes it easier. but that was easy. I took out a part he looked for the matching picture and we put sticky notes on everything. i wish there was one more swing attachment. we still need a toddler swing for my youngest daughter and 2 “big girl” swings for my older daughter and our neighbors child. so we are probably going to keep the glider off and just attach a swing there. my kids love it and seems to be a good product.”

“It wasn’t too horrible to build, just time consuming. My wife and I got it together over a weekend with a good cordless drill and a ratchet set. It looks gorgeous enough to make the neighbors jealous and the kids LOVE it.
It seems to be designed for bigger kids due to the difficulty of the climbing wall, there is the step ladder at the rear for younger kids but our older kids (5, 8 and 10 yrs old) love the climbing wall.

When my wife had all the boxes delivered I was a little worried about assembly. If you take your time and follow the instructions (I recommend labeling all of the wood pieces ahead of time) the assembly process was pretty easy. Saying that it did take me about 15hrs to complete the project. I did it by myself over the course of a few evenings and a long Saturday. (Had to fight the rain) I found the finshed product to be very sturdy but only time will tell. The clubhouse held me with no problems and I’m 6’4 and 14 stone!!!

This is a very well designed set. I put it together by myself in about 16 hours, so it is a big project. The instructions and diagrams are very accurate, pay close attention to them and you’ll save yourself a lot of hassle. All the pieces were in the boxes. You’ll save a lot of time if you unpack, identify and label all the boards before starting construction.

I have to admit that the initial shock of all the parts was overwhelming, but the directions were easy to follow and for the most part simple to assemble (if you had the right power tools, organization skills and patience) It took my husband and his friend about 10 hours to complete it. Definitely a two person job but great manual, that goes through each step. It is very sturdy. It looks amazing. All the necessary pieces were in the box. The flower pot is just too cute, too. My daughter is too small to swing on the regular swings provided, and I was easily able to hang her swing we already had (a toddler swing) from the hooks, and it worked perfect.

After many hours and days researching swing sets online and calling dealers for high-end swing sets (Rainbow), we decided to purchase the Stonybrook Lodge Deluxe. The great price at Climbing Frames AU did influence my decision. I hope this swing set will last a good 5-7 years and I feel the price will be worth the investment compared to a Rainbow playset, which costs significantly more. We went into this project knowing that the boards were not labeled so my husband spent two hours labeling the boards and hardware in the basement. It took him about a weeks worth of evenings to put together completely on his own.. My husband isn’t the most handy man and he was able to put this together on his own so it can be done by a novice! My two year old daughter loved playing on her new swing set this weekend! I would happily make this purchase again in a heartbeat!

Purchased for my kids. A lot of pieces so we laid everything out on the ground and used chalk to label . We also used disposable cups and labeled the hardware so that we would not have to keep looking for the bag. Helps a lot to spend an hour labeling everything. Took me and my wife about 14 hours to complete. On one note we were missing a board for the rock wall. I would reccomend buying this product to anyone. Make sure you read directions carefuly.
