The Selwood Meridian Playset

The Meridian playset is a fabulous play system designed for residential garden and playground use with swings and a slide and incorporating a lower level cubby house with cabin windows. It has been a best seller in the USA and Europe already in 2009.
Its features a large 1.2m high play deck coveered with a Green Tarp Roof that provides plentry of shade and is UV protected. The flat wood entrance steps provide a safe entrance to the raised Fort. There is a Picnic Table with large tarp roof to allow the young ones to eat, colour and draw or just chat with friends out of the direct sun.
The 3 position swing beam features two high quality belt swings and the always popular 2-child back-to-back glider! The swings are interchangable with our other swing accessories such as the trapeze bar, high back baby seat. The 2.4m Colour coded, High Railed Super Speedy Slide will be a big hit for all the children
The lower level Playhouse has cabin walls and windows and can be accessed by children of all ages because it is at ground level.

Warranty
Manufacturers Limited Warranty
The manufacturer states that the product is free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This one (1) year warranty covers all parts including wood, hardware, and accessories. All wood carries a five (5) year pro-rated warranty against rot and decay. Refer to the schedule below for charges associated with replacement of parts under this Limited Warranty. In addition, the manufacturer will replace any parts within the first 60 days from date of purchase found to be missing from or damaged in the original packaging. This warranty applies to the original owner and registrant and is non-transferable. Regular maintenance is required to assure maximum life and performance of this product and failure by the owner to maintain the product according to the maintenance requirements may void this warranty. Maintenance guidelines are provided in the Owner's Manual provided by the manufacturer.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Labour for any inspection or Labour for replacement of any defective item(s)
- Incidental or consequential damages
- Cosmetic defects which do not affect performance or integrity of a part or the entire product
- Vandalism, improper use, failure due to loading or use beyond the capacities stated in the Assembly Manual.
- Acts of nature including but not limited to wind, storms, hail, floods, excessive water exposure
- Improper installation including but not limited to installation on uneven, unlevel, or soft ground
- Minor twisting, warping, checking, or any other natural occurring properties of wood that do not affect performance or integrity.
The manufacturer states that the product has been designed for safety and quality. Any modifications made to the original product could damage the structural integrity of the unit leading to failure and possible injury. Modification voids any and all warranties and the manufacturer will accept no liability for any modified products or consequences resulting from failure of a modified product.
This product is warranted for RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY. Under no circumstance should the product be used in public settings, such use may lead to product failure and potential injury. Any and all public use will void this warranty.
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights as well which vary from state to state or country to country.

Impressive playground.
The night before we put this together we opened everything, made sure all the parts were there, we labeled the wood with the part number (with chalk) and sorted through all the nuts and bolts - We grouped them as well (i.e. all the lag bolts in one row, etc.) This definately made the whole process go ALOT smoother. We had 2 nice long tables set up in the garage for all the parts and tools used. Don't lose any of the screws/bolts, etc. - there are NO extras!! Once constructed, we have to say this is an impressive playground.

This swing set is AMAZING!!! We bought it for our daughter's 4th birthday and she absolutely loves it!!! It took my husband and his friend about 7 hours to construct it and I definetely recommend labeling the wood prior to putting it together (use chalk so it washes off when you're done) Having all the pieces labeled beforehand saved sooo much time. Assembly was easy with two people who at least have some knowledge of building things. It is extremely durable swingset, the cedar is nice and is such a great buy for the quality you get. My daughter plays on it for hours every day and is getting sooo much use out of it. I would DEFINETELY recommend this to anyone!
Can't beat it for the price.
I looked around the retailers for about 3 months for a swing set before buying. I wanted to get the value without ending up with something cheap and flimsy and sacrificing play value. My son is only 22 months old so I wanted something he could get many years of use out of. We are very satisfied with the purchase! The set is very sturdy and my son plays on it almost almost every evening and weekend. There are lots of different activities so he hasn't got bored. After unpacking everything I was very surprised that the set was only missing two screws, which were for one of the yellow handles, we emailed Climbing Frames AU and it arrived in the post a couple of days later. It took 2 adults about 10 hours to put together. 1 instruction reader, and parts puller and one builder!!! We had everything labeled and spread out across the back yard). I would recommend this set to friends and family! You can't beat it for the price.
I really recommend this set!
I first must explain that I am the mum and built this set all by myself. My husband works strange hours and I wasn't patient enough to wait for him, so I opened the boxes and got on with it. LABEL all the pieces before you begin. I went as far as putting the hardware in bags and labelng them by page number. I assembled everything I could in the garage. Once I had the two walls constructed, I moved everything outside. Truly, you only need a helper when getting the swing beam up to the Fort. Everything else I did myself. I am a fairly small person and not that strong, but I had no troubles. My boys love it. It doesn't seem sturdy until you have it COMPLETED! I have gone down the slide a few times and swung on the swings with my kids. It is very sturdy! I really shopped around for a set, I have been looking at reviews for different sets for about 5 months and I am glad I purchased the Meridian. We couldn't justify spending $5000 dollars for a rainbow set. This set is great! My oldest is 3 1/2 and my youngest is 2. The 3 of us sat in the top level and played with no problems. I really recommend this set! Just stay organized and keep your drill charged. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!
great swingset, with a cubby
I have seven year old twins and the Meridian Playset is great for them. Be prepared to spend 12+ hrs assembling, the Assembly Directions were easy to understand. The wood planks are not labeled but are easy to Identify, I spent 2hrs with a marker and a tape measure measuring each piece and labeling it. Labeling is a must or it will take you even longer to assemble. One constructed its a great swingset, with a cubby!!
It is a great product
Excellent deal, bought online from Climbing Frames, delivered when promised. I put out three huge sheets and took two hours to put all materials together, separate the hardware and that was the key point of the assembly. I put it together with a friend and it took about 10 hours total. I read the manual ahead of constructing and that helped too. It isn't easy, you definitely need two or more people and double check all of your work before you assemble. It is a great product and the laughter of the kids made it all worth it.
